It’s been much longer than I anticipated, this “Covid-19 ~ Stay at Home” time of life. If you’re like me, your routine is upside down and inside out, I find myself walking in circles, with nowhere to go. The one place that feels familiar is the place where I write, practice, teach and watch the squirrels, my window view that is shared with my cat ~ Basura.
I was thinking thoughts and wrote them down and am setting them free upon the breeze, perhaps one will land your way and perhaps, perchance, you will nod your head and thing, “yes, that’s like me too.”

If a picture paints a thousands words, don’t shame me for just sending a postcard
Trees give their lives for us, go dust your furniture.
If music soothes the savage beast, we should all be singing.
If minds were pools, some of us should stay in the shallow end.
If wishes were horses then beggars would ride, problem is that the horses are on strike.
When someone says that they miss me, I tell them to practice their aim.
Find something you love and fail at it, until you get it right.
I try to surround myself with like-minded people, no wonder I’m so lonely.
Usually what I think I heard you say is much more interesting than what you did say.
I’m suddenly on the other end of “check on the elderly.”
In the silence between thoughts is where brilliance hides.
Before you put your dirty clothes in the washer, tell them they’re going on a ride.
