As the sun sets upon this Christmas Eve
It is the magic of Santa in which we believe
That, there is goodness in everyone’s heart
Even though distance may hold us apart.

The blinking lights, the reindeer on roof
Who could ask for any more proof?
Hearts shining bright in the day
As children wait for Santa Claus’ sleigh.

So here is to you and here is to me
May there be presents under your tree
A trinket, a card, is more that enough
Through a year that has been kind of tough,

So sleep with the angels upon this night
Without regrets, may God hold you tight
You are the greatest gift given to earth
As together we celebrate Jesus’ birth.
