People think that because I want peace, I’m a liberal.
Because I’m kind that I’m weak.
Because I’m creative, I’m not smart.
Because I went to college, that I’m educated.
What people don’t know is that I know pain.
That every moment has created my view.
That words have depth and are honored.
That actions speak to me deeply.
Friendships are rare, trust is precious.
Forgiveness is given, but not forgotten.
Ignorance and arrogance, aggravate.
Chances are granted, but not guaranteed.
Taking the High Road, walking the low.
Every step, only known to one.
Sharing what I have, keeping what I need.
Life, onward, the happy path of destiny.
