That’s why we need to ride with our tribe
Not having to worry, not having to hide
Support without ever damning our pride.
As time passes we find what is real
Mind over heart, truth is revealed.
People will come and people will go
Much like the melting of snow.
When choosing wants over needs
Watch how quickly the bank account bleeds
Bringing some to emotional knees.
