A Letter A Day To You #5 “Corona Couples’ Cabin Fever” Katrina Curtiss

They’ve been together for many a year
Through laughter, love and many tears
They thought they knew each other well
But now they’re trapped in their tiny hell

Pick up your clothes she thinks of him
Go take a bath and shave your chin
Go pick up the pooh in our yard from your dog
You drool when you sleep, you snore like a hog

You can’t dance, he thinks of her to himself
You can’t cook the things on the shelf
You look more like your mother everyday
Oh how I hate the music you play

She smiles at him, she gives him a peck
Never mentions she thinks their marriage a wreck
He takes her hand, so she’ll never know
And onward into their marriage they go
