Oh the Ukulele is so much fun to play
I like to play it every day
It’s cute and it makes a really fun sound
When I play it, it’s impossible to frown.
To be sure if you’re feeling sad or blue
Playing the Ukulele is the thing to do
Only 4 strings, and a box made of wood
Everyone should play one, really they should!
They come from Hawaii; I’m feeling so fine
I do the Hula while I’m playing mine
My cat sits and listens, then together we play
Making music both night and day.
My neighbors, they come and knock on my door
Begging for me to play it some more
With my windows wide open, caution to the wind
We sing and we play over and over again.

It is a lovely instrument and you do play it very well!
