The Day After Tomorrow ~ My Country Divided by Katrina Curtiss 11/1/2020

It’s so disturbing, people are worried about the aftermath of Tuesday’s election, some stores are preparing for civil unrest, some parents are worried about sending their kids to school, and the list goes on. This is what happens as our current President sets the example.

The Day After Tomorrow ~ My Country Divided by Katrina Curtiss 11/1/2020

My country is divided
The people have decided
Some chant for 4 years more
Some of us cannot take anymore.

Sleepless nights, as we wait
As this week, we will know our fate
Will what’s not working stay in place
Or will we walk a new path of grace?

Some live in fear and bought a gun
Fearing aggression from everyone
Some believe everything he has to say
Mostly lies, but they believe anyway.

The divide has broken many hearts
And torn many friendships apart
Make sure you vote and raise your voice
Because after Tuesday, we have no choice.

I too have those same fears. I’m glad that I get to stay home for those 2 days. I also choose not to live in fear. My sons birthday is on the 4th so we will still celebrate no matter the turn out.
