How high will the mountain grow?
With lives lost of whom we know.
Entwined with strangers never met,
As Prayers are whispered, heaven sent.
It’s just another day in the land of guns,
2nd Amendment rights for everyone.
Nowhere is safe, not even our homes,
As laws go unchanged, as violence roams.
Names to say aloud, friends never met,
As nothing is done by our Government.
Guns, in hands, across the land,
Senseless killings of our fellow man.
***Today, 10 lives lost in Boulder, Colorado, people murdered while grocery shopping.
Nothing will be done, it never is, time will pass and this too shall be shamelessly lost in history***
