If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around
Does that mean it doesn’t make a sound?
As the Honeybee works to make honey all day
Does that mean the Honeybee never does play?
If wishes are whispered soft into the night
With the light of day, will life be all right?
The bird sings with no thought at all
Can two play when one won’t catch the ball?
If the top of the mountain is the best place to preach
Then what does one do if it’s just out of reach?
When the winds of change knock down all that you know
Will you rebuild or slowly pack up and go?
If the lonely in silence reach out their hand
Will they ever be heard over the marching band?
Each moment tied together, like strings to a kite
Do we swallow our words, even though they are right?
