Wait Woman Weight ~ by Katrina Curtiss ~ 4.9.2022

Happy, sad, the feelings found
When I weight myself, no one around
Fat clothes, skinny ones lay on the floor
Strange how the skinny ones always cost more.

Just 10 more pounds, life will be grand!
In my Bikini, I will bounce onto the sand
Losing is always a losing game
When calories seem to be calling my name.

I’m good when the scale doesn’t go very high
But when it does, sometimes, I cry
The older I get, the harder it seems
To reach the magical weight of my self limiting dreams

Wait, Woman weight, now you listen to me
From this thinking, we must set ourselves free
It’s your heart that is growing, not the size of your seat
So have those mashed potatoes along with the meat.

Talk to me
