The Adventures of Basura Continue..
My Cat has a Political Agenda ~ by me 8/31/2020
Basura cat is getting Political Stickers in the mail
She wears 2 on her head and 1 on her tail
She has an idea that she’ll sway my vote
We each think the other is on a sinking boat.
“Your Candidate is stupid and so are you!”
She yelled at me, while biting my shoe
“Every 4 years we get to make a choice
It’s important you vote and you raise your voice!”
I caught her whispering “His” name in my ear
And then hisses it again, whenever I’m near
She changes the channel on the TV when ever mine is on
And uses his name in all of my favorite songs.
I fear this is all I will hear until November 3rd
Like a dog with a bone, a cat with a bird
I only hope that we can remain friends
Until this political madness ends.
