Like some of you perhaps, I haven’t been sleeping very well due to the political climate of my country. I’ve done my part, was one of the first in line the first morning of early voting. Yard signs, Biden Stickers, asked everyone to vote. I have lost friends due to my postings on social media, which is their choice.
Perhaps when Biden is in the White House, we shall be friends again, for everything there is a season, reason and time.
On today’s walk, it felt like the tab on my shirt was irritating my skin, but then it felt like my leg was being irritated, eeeekkkkk, bugs, a bug must have dropped upon me during my walk. Sure enough, when I got home, I found a red biting ant, which in turn, inspired the following.

Basura Cat heard a knock and answered the door.
And there stood a Republic “Ant” chanting “4 Years More!”
Basura just laughed and shook her head,
Tried shutting the door and going to bed.
But the Republic “Ant” pushed his way in,
And started chanting all over again.
She pulled my cat’s ears, she bit at her knees.
This ant was worse than one million fleas.
Basura cried, “Why are you so mad at me?”
“Just go on your way and let me be!”
But the Ant screamed, “No, you must see things my way!”
“You must do as I do and repeat what I say!”
Now I ask you to try and imagine that.
Being yelled at by an ant in a red maga hat.
When I simply could not take anymore.
I swept that Republic “Ant” right out my front door.
The Republic “Ant” didn’t even bother wearing a mask.
Because as we know, it’s too much to ask.
A hat made of red, a heart made of stone.
In just 5 days, hopefully they will leave us alone.
