Basura Cat wanted to go visit her Vet,
She says, “It’s their very best day yet!”
A day to celebrate those who care for cats.
Seems she had misunderstood all the facts.
I said, “It Veterans Day not Veterinarians Day.”
A time for us to say Thanks, and respect we pay.
To those who gave and give all for our freedom to be,
To live in our great Land of Liberty.
Basura felt silly at her mistake,
I said, “It’s okay, relax for goodness sake.”
It marks the end of World War One, a day that the world cheered.
To honor the 11th hour of the 11th day on the 11th month of the year.
We offer our thanks, we offer our hearts,
To all the men and women who bravely did their part.
