Basura cat put on a dress and did her hair,
Saying that today, “Love is in the air!”
She says that she is smart and not stupid,
That today she’ll get a visit from Cupid.
A baby in a diaper, bow and arrow in hand,
Will be slinging love darts all over the land.
With flowers, candy and special meals shared together,
The snuggles and cuddles increased by cold weather.
Just because she is single, Basura isn’t sad,
She has the love of family and friends, which make her glad.
Basura knows that Love comes in all shapes and sizes,
Just look in your heart to find what the prize is.
So salute to you upon this Valentines Day,
May love, light and laughter come and stay.
Remember that just because we are a part,
That we love you, and hug you tight in our hearts.
