We got a magazine in the mail for free
Basura exclaimed, “That could be me!”
I could be in a model, that’s the thing to do
In magazines, TV and Victoria Secret too!”

“Think of how all the people would talk
When I saunter up and down the catwalk
I’d sashay this way and saunter that
A Runway cat in a dress and a hat”

So, I got out my camera, and so did she pose
How she learned this, nobody knows
She laid on her back, she laid on her side
I lost count of all of the poses she tried

I said, “Basura, I’ve got other things to do
Than spend all my time taking pictures of you
And I put down the camera and laid on the couch
She said, “Staying at home has made you a grouch!”

I thought about what my cat just said
How it’s hard to be motivated out of my bed
So, I picked up the camera, she continued to pose
Trying on make-up and changing her clothes.
