Basura Cat sleeps all day in her house,
She won’t come out, even to chase a mouse.
But as soon as the sun begins to set,
She becomes a most lively, excited pet.
She runs crazy from room to room,
She is fast as lightening, zoom, zoom, zoom!
She jumps on the radio and turns it on,
Then she dances to her favorite song.
Then she bounces on the bed,
Not once, but twice.
She messes up the blankets,
Which isn’t very nice.
She fights with the dog who lives next door,
She messes up the rugs and tears up the floor.
And when she is tired, she comes to rest on my chest,
Leaving me to clean up all of her mess.
