Basura wants to aerobicise
Because her weight has gone up one size
So with leotard and a yoga mat
She works out each day, so she doesn’t get fat.
She watches videos that challenge her
You should see the sweat fly from her fur
A bend, a twist, two toe taps then spin
Then she does it all over again.
She lifts tiny weights in her tiny paws
Looking in the mirror, to catch any flaws
Then she jogs in place, oh the look on her face
When she realizes she isn’t going anyplace.
She drinks protein shakes to make her strong
Then she runs up the stairs to that Rocky song
My house is her gym, my bed her trampoline
Oh what fun to have a cat that is lean.
